The true weight of a high-quality GIF comes from size, frame count, and detail, not from time. For instance, a file reaches 5.03 MB because of a large 5 x 7 canvas size, high frame counts, and the rich detail of premium, custom illustrations.

Pacing, on the other hand, is a purely professional design choice. Adjusting the frame delay ensures that the storytelling is perfectly readable and that viewers can actually digest the message before it loops. Because pauses are completely free weight-wise, you can confidently hold the final frame of an animation so your audience can see your shop details clearly, without adding a single extra kilobyte to your digital product.
